ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA


  • You support the YOLO (You Only Live Once) spirit!
  • You can deliver a rockin' acoustic set
  • You agree to be streamed live from the event
  • You reside in Canada or the US
  • Your music is available in Canada or the US



WHAT YOU GET


  • Exhibit space in the show - a shared booth with other musicians (table included) to show off and sell your music and merch


  • Complimentary training and networking event with vendors and speakers so they can big you up during the event


  • 6 complimentary tickets to give to your biggest fans


  • Direct exposure to ears of qualified shoppers, including buyers, bloggers, media


  • A detailed profile/interview on yolopalooza.com and @yolopalooza (Instagram and Twitter) with product images and a link to your website


  • Complimentary tea, coffee, water throughout the show


  • One “Musician” badge per member and a +1 to man your booth during your set


  • A qualified ‘booth sitter’ if you need a break




You can be sure we will take care of you, support you and promote your work. We look forward to making new connections and friends while having fun at Yolopalooza!

APPLICATION DEADLINE JULY 15th

Any applications received after the deadline will be juried and considered for available spots.

THINGS TO KNOW:


*Please keep in mind you will be playing either a capella or with a small amplifier and mic. You are essentially the soundtrack of the room but there will be a lot of activity around you. 


*We encourage you to engage the crowd but we ask that you be considerate to the other surrounding vendors and are especially aware of your volume during our speaker sessions.


*We ask that you do not encourage tips or donations during your set.


*Your set will be up to 30 mins, more if time is available. You may play more than one spot.


*The networking night is mainly focused on the vendors and speakers. However, this could also be an opportunity to give some background to your band so that vendors may encourage attendees to check you out and we'd appreciate your support.


*We are open to your suggestions such as placement for acoustics, set up and other creative ideas to make this a great event for musicians and music-lovers.

There is no fee, nor compensation for being a musician at Yolopalooza. You will receive the benefits listed above

You will receive a confirmation email in 48 hours. You will be notified of your acceptance by August 5th


Once accepted we will send you your marketing package including shareable promotions and complementary tickets.
